Edward, a Webelos Scout, loves to read. He is currently participating in BOB, which stands for Battle of the Books. This is Edward’s second year as a participant. He also volunteers in the library at school. Edward received the Irving Park Elementary Citizenship Award and he participates in many community activities, such as assisting in the planting of 150 trees in a neighborhood where he lives. Recently Edward found and returned a purse containing nearly $2,000 in cash. He received a letter from the Carolina Panthers inviting him and three guests to attend the Panthers’ game against the New Orleans Saints. (from the BSA Website)
