This story first came out a few weeks ago, tucked away in the back pages of one of the local newspapers. Though a quiet story, it illustrated the contempt that the selectmen of one town in northern New Hampshire felt for one of their own serving their nation far away in Iraq.

Frankly this is the type of treatment of a returning soldier I would expect of those in places like that bastion of liberal think, San Francisco, and not in a conservative state like New Hampshire.

To me its not a conservative or liberal issue. Its a matter of just doing the right thing.
